Dutch Kissing Cousins
This is a tedious painting technique, where I take a design that has lots of raised details in it. After baking the pieces for half the required time, I paint the details with liquid clay. They go back in the oven for the remainder of the time, which hardens the liquid clay. Following the second baking, I use acetone to gently wipe away at any remaining colour on the piece where it isn’t wanted. After this, the earrings are sanded, drilled, and assembled!
